BIOGRAPHY

Bradley Owen is a narrative-driven, representational oil painter currently living in Orange County, California where received his BFA in Drawing and Painting from the Laguna College of Art and Design.

Having been born and raised in rural Indiana, Bradley moved to California during his six year enlistment in the United States Navy. Since his time in the Navy, he has been dedicated toward his passion for oil painting.

His work combines the traditional values and techniques used by the old masters with his own instinctual expressiveness which comes out through the use of color, texture, intense mark-making and unconventional subject matter.
